All libraries house the textbooks of the courses provided by the university. Students may make use of the textbooks in the library during normal opening hours. Students must sign a reading room form and can only use the textbooks in the library. Proper name and identification number must be printed on the form. Students must present student I.D.'s at all times.
There is no time limit on the use of the textbook in the library, but students are asked to not leave their tables or textbooks idly, since other students may require the textbook as well. At this time, the library staff reserves the right to recall the textbook from a student who allows the textbook to sit idly without being used.
If a textbook for a course is not found in the library, probably it's because the lecturer uses a different textbook than the one required, or the UB - Bookstore has no more in stock. The library for the most part, houses every textbook for the courses.
Feel free to make use of this valuable service provided. Students also tend to use the textbooks to photocopy certain pages for their use. |
